Ibrahim El-Mozayyen
Ibrahim Muzayen
After a year studying illustration and graphics, Ibrahim studied
set design, drama and music at the Visual Theater School,
Jerusalem, 1992–95. He participated in theatre workshops held in
Jerusalem by Peter Brook and by Sergeo Buhero, and spent a year
in the US on an International Visitors Program in 2003. Besides
working with installations, drawings and collages, Ibrahim is
also an art critic, theatre director, set designer, and drama
therapist. He has had a number of solo exhibitions in Israel,
Palestine, Japan and Indonesia, and has produced several
performance installations on Gaza Beach. He has contributed to
joint exhibitions in Palestine, France, Spain and the UAE.
Director and designer of a number of productions in theatres in
the West Bank and Gaza, Ibrahim is now Deputy Director of the
Palestinian Child Theater in Gaza.
