"Flowerpots & Stories"
Mohammed Juha & Hazem Harb
** MONDAY 7/7 @ 7:00 PM @
Sakakini Cultural Center
Mohammad Juha’s paintings exhibit his fascination with how children
represent themselves, their feelings, & their surroundings. He strives to
return to a period of naiveté, tempered by melancholy & sadness. His
children appear to have lost their innocence. Hazem Harb presents his
contemplation on an everyday object, a flowerpot of herbs.
Both artists explore avenues towards abstraction; Mohammad Juha returns to
childlike representations, while Hazem Harb chooses still life.
